Senior Cost Manager Hospital Construction

Turner & Townsend has recently been appointed to lead a once-in-a-generation programme that will deliver much needed new hospitals and transform healthcare facilities to benefit patients and clinicians nationwide.This role provides individuals with opportunities to develop their knowledge experience and skills.Role ResponsibilitiesAssist with feasibility studies and procurement reportsEstimate and plan costs present the final cost planManage tendering pre-qualification tender list preliminaries analysis and reportsHandle post-contract cost variances and change controlConduct cost checks and valuations ensuring accuracyProduce and present monthly post-contract cost reportsInput into value engineeringNegotiate and agree on final accountsInterface with clients and consultants at all project stagesLead cost management team ensuring accountabilityIdentify new business opportunities with existing clientsAssist in producing bid documentationImprove cost management procedures templates and productsEnsure key information and learnings are input into the internal databaseTrack financial management using FMSIdentify and refer ideas for process improvementAssess commission management quality and efficiencyQualifications : Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying MRICS qualifiedUK Cost Management experience preferably on major programmes within Infrastructure and Real EstateExcellent communication skills and client facing.Additional Information : Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
