This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are cost-effective and competitive while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed cost estimates for thermal insulation and ductwork projects. * Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project estimates. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. * Research and source materials, equipment, and labor costs. * Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes. * Develop and maintain a cost database for materials, labor, and equipment. * Assist in the preparation of tender and bid documents. * Monitor and update project budgets throughout the project lifecycle. * Provide risk assessments and value engineering solutions to optimise project costs. * Participate in project planning and progress meetings. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
