It requires qualities that will support and develop the already positive culture of the wider team to deliver at the highest possible level for our customers.Duties:To manage the company asset tracking and asset compliance functions for company premises and equipment.To manage the company equipment hire parc, including negotiating hires/off hires and coordination with 3rd party hire companies.To procure stock materials for stores and sites as required, ensuring procurement is compliant and competitive.To maintain and manage (hands-on) basic company stock, including the organisation of this at our premises.To plan and organise in-house logistics (3.5t van) and driver for deliveries/collections and assist loading/offloading.Line management of van driver, and when required to step in (e.g. due to holidays/absence) drive the van to complete deliveries/collections yourself.To ensure the activities undertaken in the warehouse and carpark areas, including loading/unloading/vehicle movements and transport are all carried out safely.To load, transport, unload and distribute materials/equipment as required while observing site/road/safety requirements.To assist with the distribution and gathering of materials on sites for deliveries/collections while observing site/safety requirements.Manage company tools/equipment ensuring they are tested/calibrated (kept within date), and they are maintained/cleaned/quarantined/repaired to ensure operational assets are all retained in good order, and records are kept.Responsible for maintaining company asset tracking system/records ensuring traceability, compliance monitoring, and accountability for company assets.To act as buyer for stock items, and other general off the shelf items as required.
