This exciting and important role will require you to advise and serve clients on all matters relating to trade marks and designs. Other responsibilities will include protection and enforcement, researching trademarks in order to advice on their availability, as well as creating contracts and overseeing the process of registering trademarks. Further duties entail filing and prosecuting trademarks before the UKIPO and WIPO, along with working alongside international associates in order to prosecute international trademark applications.

Our client is seeking an E&W qualified Solicitor with 2-5 PQE. Previous trade mark experience is essential.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional who works well working within a passionate and energetic IP team, as well as independently. Excellent communication and time management skills and vital, as well as interpersonal skills for working alongside clients and colleagues. Good business awareness is essential in order to build and maintain strong client relationships. Previous experience in soft IP is essential.
