Section Engineer Highways & Civil Engineering Plymouth Looking for long term security and progression in the South West? We are on the search for a proactive and driven Section Engineer to join a leading, Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor with a strong base and pipeline of future works in Devon. Currently operating across a number of sectors to include Highways, Rail, Construction and Build, they boast offices across the UK and abroad offering great variety of work alongside first-class training and development opportunities. The main purpose of the role is to support their Major Projects team in Plymouth on a large scale road scheme. Key Duties:Managing a team of engineersOverseeing and reporting on productivityEnsuring high levels of Health & Safety and undertaking inspectionsHave an understanding of robotic surveying equipment;Support and ensure that the works are constructed in accordance design specificationMentor and develop your teamKey Requirements:Minimum of an HNC/Degree or equivalentStrong Engineering and Setting Out experienceSound technical knowledge including construction tolerances, specification and contract documentationExcellent management and communication skillsWillingness to work as part of a team and develop your careerAs a forward thinking company they appreciate that their employees are key in shaping diversity and inclusion and know that they are at the heart of their success.
