Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year

Our Client

Due to a period of rapid expansion, an exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a paralegal in a specialist motoring law firm in the heart of Liverpool.

Joining the practice’s highly regarded motoring law team, the successful candidate will work closely with the senior members of the department and run a busy case load of all motoring matters from instruction to conclusion.


Responsibilities

  • Working alongside one of the team’s solicitors
  • Working on all types of motoring offences from speeding to drug or drink driving to dangerous driving.
  • File management
  • Preparing client letters
  • Drafting statements
  • Preparing brief’s for counsel
  • Liaising with clients in person and over the telephone
  • Instructing experts
  • Briefs to counsel


The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from paralegals with criminal law experience. Motoring Law experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and is able to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language
  • Work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Highly organised, able to work well when under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Is personable, professional and client-focused
