Senior Full Stack Engineer - Golang & JavaScript

Circa £70K

Office Location: Central London


My client is a global innovative PropTech company at the forefront of their industry. Their undergoing a massive roll out of greenfield projects. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to make a huge impact on their engineering teams across the UK.


The ideal candidate will need a strong engineering pedigree, great delivery track record, stakeholder management and significant experience being self sufficient. This role is also a key member of the engineering team and will work with the Head of Engineering to ensure we achieve maximum impact with the growth of engineering across the UK.


Key Skills:

  • Golang backend experience ideally
  • Extensive experience in backend development and can contribute to the frontend
  • You have a product mindset and care about the customer experience
  • Developing microservices for new features and managing a resilient distributed system.
  • Confident working across: Golang, TypeScript, React, Next.js, AWS and JavaScript


Requirements:

  • Comfortable managing numerous engineering teams rolling out projects successfully
  • Spearhead software system design, development, and implementation.
  • Oversee code quality through thorough reviews and adherence to industry best practices
  • Mentor junior developers, providing them with guidance on best practices and development techniques
  • Testing and Deployment: Skills in implementing CI/CD pipelines and using testing frameworks to ensure application reliability.
  • Experienced in building a strong engineering culture through customer obsession
  • Passionate about scale up environments being bought into the company vision
  • Have a genuine interest in growing with the business
