Multi-skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias - Based at Gateshead4 on 4 off 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am (rotating shifts) Were Hiring Electrically biased Multi skilled Engineers Join Us in GatesheadValeo Foods UK is on the lookout for talented Multi skilled Engineers to join our team at our Gateshead site  home of the much-loved tortilla crisps and rice cakes.If youre passionate about engineering thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and want to be part of a positive can do team that keeps some of the UKs favourite snacks on the shelves wed love to hear from youWhat youll be doing:Daily repair of machinery and carrying out proactive tasks when possiblePlanning and Monitoring machine performanceMonitoring failureSupporting External ContractorsTechnical support for production when requiredTo maintain the highest standards in housekeeping adopting a clean as you go policy.To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off.Key areas of the role:H&S and safe work practicesFood safety minimizing day to day risks with running of the plant and involving contractorsPlan is king ensure that the company can hit its required targetsFirefighting machinery / site services upkeep and carrying out ongoing maintenance PPM in a timely mannerPromote and contribute to the continuous improvement of the running of the companyMinimize down timeTrain / guide production staff in the correct way to treat our machinery and help train our maintenance technicians from within our department.Work on projects as allocated by the Engineering ManagerAny other duties as requested by the Engineering Manager Qualifications : Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification with basic mechanical skillsAble to prove competency in all forms of isolation and electrical safetyProactive / use your own initiativeExperience of FMCG operationsPC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments. Additional Information : What we offer you in return4 on 4 off 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am (rotating shifts) Salary: 52500 per annumExcellent Career OpportunitiesMatched pension scheme up to 10%Death in serviceCycle to work schemeRetailer discount platformStaff discount And plenty more Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Electrical Engineering,Lighting Design,System Design,Firmware,NEC,LabView,PCB,CAD,Fpga,Autocad,Programmable Logic Controllers,Revit Experience: years Vacancy: 1
