Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a FMC Accredited Family Mediator at Disputes Mediation®. As a Family Mediator, you will be responsible for facilitating the resolution of family disputes through mediation. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting mediation sessions, helping clients identify and clarify issues, facilitating communication and negotiation, and facilitating the drafting of agreements. This role requires excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.


Qualifications

  • FMC Accredited Family Mediator qualification
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of family law and mediation principles
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts and facilitate constructive dialogue
  • Empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain neutrality and confidentiality
  • Experience in conducting family mediation sessions
  • Proficiency in documentation and agreement drafting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Additional certifications or training in related fields (e.g., counselling, psychology) are beneficial
