Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Management:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the professional construction sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including site managers, project managers, and construction executives.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions to fulfil their project and operational requirements.
  • Recruitment & Candidate Placement:
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to placement of candidates.
  • Utilise various sourcing strategies, including networking, social media, and job boards, to attract skilled professionals in the professional construction field.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to ensure candidates meet the client’s expectations and job requirements.
  • Strategy Development & Implementation:
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies and business development tactics.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to recommend improvements and opportunities for growth.
  • Performance & Metrics:
  • Achieve defined recruitment and sales targets, providing regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and candidate placement success rates.


Person Spec

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, specifically within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Extensive knowledge of the construction sector and its key players.
  • Understanding of the specific roles and responsibilities within the construction industry.
  • Recruitment Expertise:
  • Proficient in managing the entire recruitment cycle from candidate sourcing to placement.
  • Skilled in using various sourcing strategies including direct search, social media, and networking.
  • Business Development:
  • Strong ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Experience in creating and executing business growth strategies.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Organisational Skills:
  • High level of organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Proficiency in recruitment software and platforms.
