Finance Director

Scotia Homes is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Finance Director to join our leadership team in Ellon. This pivotal role is ideal for an ambitious professional ready to lead and develop our finance team, shaping the strategic and operational direction of the group.As Finance Director, you'll do more than manage the numbers, you'll drive performance beyond the balance sheet. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position for a leader with the vision, commitment, and drive to make a real impact. Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial strategy, planning and reportingOversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementEnsure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.Provide commercial insight into land acquisition and development appraisalsProvide financial oversight in sales and CVR meetingsDevelop and nurture strong relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholdersDevelop and mentor the finance team promoting high performance and continuous learning.What We're Looking For:A qualified accountant with post-qualification experience at a senior leadership level (CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified)Strong background in house building or construction.
