The team regularly advises on business structuring, investment strategies, governance and commercial transactions for entrepreneurial and privately held organisations.The Department:The team supports founders, entrepreneurs and private capital owners on structuring their business and personal affairs to maximise efficiency, growth and long-term preservation of wealth.Work includes designing and modernising trading, investment and holding structures, providing day-to-day commercial advice, and acting as general counsel on ongoing operational and transactional matters. Clients span industries including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, brands, hospitality, financial services and media.The Opportunity:The firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate (1-3 PQE) with strong UK tax experience and commercial acumen. This role offers the chance to take on client-facing responsibility, lead projects and advise both founders and businesses on complex domestic and international matters. The team is growing, with excellent prospects for progression.What You Will Be Doing:Advising domestic and international businesses on UK corporate tax mattersWorking on cross-border business and investment structuringProviding integrated tax advice alongside commercial, legal and regulatory considerationsDrafting tax deeds, warranties and finance documentationAdvising on tax issues arising in corporate and transactional mattersSupporting on the design and implementation of business structuresActing as a trusted adviser to founders, entrepreneurs and management teamsKey Skills and ExperienceQualified solicitor (England & Wales), 1-3 years’ PQEDemonstrable experience in corporate tax and transactional mattersStrong knowledge of cross-border corporate tax structuringExcellent drafting, technical and research skillsConfident communicator with the ability to handle client contact early onCommercial, pragmatic and solutions-drivenStrong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindsetProficient in Word, Excel and relevant legal systemsBeneficial Experience:Business development and intermediary relationship-buildingManagement incentive arrangements (e.g., EMI, EIS)Employment-related tax issues, including IR35Tax aspects of commercial real estateTax considerations relating to investment fundsIdeal For Solicitors Seeking:High-quality corporate tax work with international exposureCareer progression within a growing and well-respected practiceDirect client contact with founders, entrepreneurs and private capital ownersA supportive, forward-thinking, high-performance environment
