Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team with a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer.


The Role:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by developing new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships plus following up on new leads supplied to you. Your focus will be on identifying and understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and closing sales. You will be working with a broad portfolio of products, including HVAC systems, heat pumps, Air Conditioning, Evaporative Cooling  and more.


Key Responsibilities:

·        Follow up on leads supplied together with existing client requirements plus identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial and commercial sectors.

·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

·        Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to understand client requirements.

·        Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and tenders to prospective clients.

·        Collaborate with the technical team to design and specify appropriate heating and cooling solutions.

·        Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving growth and profitability.

·        Keep up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitors.


Requirements:

·        Proven experience in a sales engineer role, preferably within the industrial/commercial heating and cooling sector.

·        Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, industrial heating, and cooling equipment.

·        Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

·        Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

·        Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

·        Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Midlands.
