Job Title: Business Continuity and Emergency Planning Lead Contract Duration: 6 Months - Umbrella An excellent opportunity for a hands-on, experienced Business Continuity & Emergency Planning Lead to join our team a major engineering company In this role, you'll develop and write comprehensive, fit-for-purpose Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Emergency Contingency Plans (ECP) tailored to our project-based engineering business, which spans multiple sectors, including Defence, and operates manufacturing and remote sites across the UK Key Responsibilities: BCP & ECP Development Stakeholder Engagement Design strategies to safeguard critical operations and workflows. Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), identifying recovery priorities and timelines. Develop and test recovery strategies and documentation with key teams. Ensure compliance with frameworks like ISO 22301. Emergency Contingency Planning (ECP): Write detailed emergency response plans for various scenarios (e.g., fire, utility failure, hazardous events). Coordinate drills, document roles and responsibilities, and refine plans based on findings. Integrate health and safety, engineering protocols, and communication procedures.Qualifications/Requirements: Proven experience in BCP and/or ECP documentation, ideally within complex operational environments.
