Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a ‘hands-on’ understanding of the work we do.We work in the social housing sector and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.Gilmartins are looking to recruit an experienced Domestic Groundworker (fencing, repairing brickwork, laying paving slabs). The ideal trades person will have worked in social housing.The ideal trades person will have worked in social housing.The work will be across the following post code areas: OX, HP, HA, UB, SW, GU and RG.Properties are situated across all of these areas so there will be regular travel as a requirement of the job.We are looking for someone who lives central to these areas and is willing to travel and work across the post codes.Experienced Domestic Groundworker (fencing, repairing brickwork, laying paving slabs):The role is to - * Carry out property repairs and maintenance works – social housing * Working to Scope of Works on PDA for each jobRequirements for Job: * Full UK driving license * Own tools * Experience of working in social housing ideally * DBS certificate * CSCS card – ideallyCompany Benefits: * Company Van * Fuel card * Paid parking * Mobile phone / PDA * Career development opportunities * 28 day paid holiday (to include bank holidays) * Employee Assistance * Hamper at ChristmasHours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday or Sunday in 4 required.
