Job Overview:
Oscar technology are partnering with a Software House that are looking to expand the team with a Product Owner.
The Product Owner will be responsible for delivering an industry leading software system that meets the needs of the customers and is aligned with their business goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, strategic thinker and skilled at balancing the needs of various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
- Align product features and priorities with business goals and customer needs.
- Maintain the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Manage and prioritise the requirements, ensuring that the development team clearly understands them.
- Function as the primary liaison between the development team and business stakeholders, ensure alignment of expectations.
- Participate in sprint planning meetings to define goals and set priorities.
- Ensure the development team understands the scope and requirements of the user stories.
- Review and accept completed user stories based on acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications
- Typically, a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner(CSPO), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or (AAC) can be advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experienceas a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in product ownership, preferably within an Agile environment.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of software development processesand the ability to collaborate with technical teams.
