Machine Operator Benefits:

  • Location: Newark, NG23
  • Pay: £12 per hour
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4.30pm
  • Contract: Temp ongoing possibility of temp to perm
  • On site parking

Machine Operator Duties:

  • Working in factory operating machinery - full training will be provided.
  • Working within a large production environment.
  • Supporting Production Lines and working as a team ensuring deadlines are being met
  • Lifting and manual handling required.
  • Loading material into hopper
  • Perform routine maintenance such as morning walk round checks on equipment used, and; reporting any damage/faults to management
  • Grease shovel and other plant as part of maintenance checks
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • General cleaning up of the yard

Machine Operator Criteria:

  • FLT licence preferred but not essential (in house will be considered)
  • Willingness to do a duel role in the factory operating machinery as well as yard work
  • Previous experience as a machine operative preferred but not essential
  • Must have a good work ethic and be hard working
  • Professional and effective communication skills with colleagues
  • Calm under pressure and proactive in solving problems
  • Reliable, excellent attendance and timekeeping
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Flexible with the role and duties
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can work in a team and independently
  • Excellent understanding and daily practice of health and safety at work
