Clear Sky Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an established international manufacturing organisation based in the Blackwood area of south Wales. As a result of their continued success, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician at their world-class modern manufacturing facility.Key Responsibilities: * Responding to minor breakdowns * Preventative maintenance * Major breakdowns * To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements, * GMP and company policies and procedures. * Preparation of sub-assembly * Other tasks as reasonably requested by the ManagerKey Requirements: * A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Discipline/apprenticeship * Knowledge of high speed and/or food processing production * Machine setting * Fault finding and problem solving * Plc, pneumatics, robotics (desirable) * Adaptable and able to connect with others * Team orientated/ collaborative * Able to operate & take decisions independently/ enjoys autonomy * FlexibilityHours of work:Days/Afters/Nights (3-shift rotating)Upon applying for this position you are giving authorisation for Clear Sky Recruitment Ltd to contact you regarding this vacancy and other vacancies our team feel that may be suitable for you.
