Company Description
This rapidly growing and developing company is looking for a Logistics Technician to join their Logistics department as demands for their product expand.
They believe in pursuing their ambitious goals with purpose, basing decisions on empirical evidence, and acting with integrity. As a member of the Logistics team, your work will underpin the business, ensuring customers receive the product in a timely and safe fashion.
As a technician, you are responsible for receiving incoming deliveries, fulfilling the needs of our internal colleagues, packaging and reviewing the locations and quantities of materials, intermediates, and consumables.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive internal transfers and process them into finished goods.
- Receive stock from external suppliers and our global production facilities and process them for storage.
- Assist with inventory stock management.
- As a growing biotech and the capacity of the department is key, there will be a variety of other tasks.
Desirable specifics:
- Enjoy adapting to a changing environment and have high attention to detail.
- Work effectively in a diverse team towards a common goal.
- Great organisational and time management skills with previous experience in a fast-paced environment such as retail, hospitality, customer service, warehouse, distribution, logistics or manufacturing.
- Have an interest in Biotechnology.
This role will involve standing for 60 to 100% of the time and moving potentially heavy packages.
