Job Description

Role: Senior Consultant
Technology: Working experience on upstream area in oil & gas (Geology, reservoir engineering, data analysis)

Job Overview:
In the role of Senior Consultant, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design, and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative, high-quality, and defect-free solutions to meet our clients' business needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Possess over 12 years of hands-on Functional & Data testing experience for Oil and Gas upstream.
  2. Hands-on Functional testing experience for Oil and Gas upstream applications such as Geology, reservoir modelling, and Geophysical applications.
  3. Working knowledge of different upstream specific toolsets such as Petrel and third-party applications interfacing with such systems/tools.
  4. Very good understanding of Oil & Gas subsurface applications and their associated plugins.
  5. Manage all activities related to different oil and gas applications, workflow, customization, and enhancement.
  6. Good understanding of upstream applications used for Oil and Gas in managing oil wells and subsurface.
  7. Ability to use code repositories such as GIT, ADO, and TFS.
  8. Lead and manage testing resources, monitor team performance, and ensure delivery of testing/project objectives.
  9. Work closely with stakeholders including Business Owners and Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements and understand new applications to be deployed.
  10. Experience in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Non-Functional Testing, Smoke Testing, Compatibility Testing, and Image Testing.
  11. Evaluate different tools for automating applications and products and develop Test Strategy for the overall program.
  12. Well-versed with automation testing tools and technologies such as C#, .Net, Specflow, Tosca, and BDD.
  13. Good understanding of different types of applications such as web-based, thick client, and products.
  14. Clear understanding of databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, and data models.

  2. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
