Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Commercial Development Manager to join our team in our Ringwood office.About the RoleThis is a hybrid role blending business development, account management, and project oversight. Based full-time in our Ringwood office, you will be the primary point of contact for our commercial clients—handling enquiries, nurturing long-term relationships, and driving new business opportunities. You’ll manage client projects from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring a seamless customer experience and maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentHandle all incoming enquiries from commercial clients, understanding needs and providing suitable service solutions.Conduct proactive outreach to identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities.Attend networking events, industry functions, and meetings to promote First Local Services and generate leads.Prepare and issue sales quotations and invoices.Meet set targets related to revenue growth and client acquisition.Account & Project ManagementManage ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.Oversee client projects from start to finish, coordinating internal teams and ensuring smooth service delivery.Act as the central liaison between clients and First Local Services operational teams.Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, project updates, and sales activity.Handle any client concerns quickly and professionally.About YouWe’re looking for someone who is:Experienced in business development, sales, or account management (ideally within a service-based or technical industry).Confident, organised, and proactive with excellent communication skills.Comfortable attending networking events and building rapport with clients at all levels.Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Motivated to grow with the business and help expand our commercial presence.What We OfferStarting salary of £35,000OTE of £45,000–£50,000Supportive team environment within a respected, growing companyScope to develop your career in business development and operationsTraining in drainage sector services and processesIf you're driven, commercially minded, and ready to take ownership of client relationships and new business growth, we’d love to hear from you.Apply today to join First Local Services and play a key role in our next phase of expansion.
