Location - Ashford, Kent

Salary - £12-£13 per hour depending on experience

Permanent role, full-time hours 40 per week

Our client, a leading plastic injection moulding company based out of Ashford is looking for a Setter / Tool Hanger to join their team. They will consider those who have extensive experience as well as those who are looking for their second job in this industry.

Hours:

A Monday-Friday rotating shift pattern of 6 am-2.30 pm and 2 pm-10.30 pm

Responsibilities for the role of Setter / Tool Hanger

  • Aid in the changing of tools and setting
  • Will be responsible for working in a safe and tidy fashion, adhering to H&S regulations set out by the company
  • Will be working within a team, and responsible for completing tasks and orders within key deadline limits
  • Aid in the repair and upkeep of tools and equipment
  • Adhere to company standards and final product expectations

Skills and Experience role of Setter / Tool Hanger

  • Must have previous working experience in injection moulding and its machines
  • Experience in tool changes and trials is essential for this role
  • Able to work to tight tolerances and deadlines
  • Be proactive with a can-do attitude for problem-solving
  • Good handling for tool setting/working
  • Must be able to follow safety practices within the workplace
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings for tools
