You possess strong organizational skills to manage a caseload efficiently, engage in reflective supervision, and prioritize tasks to meet the demands of service delivery. You have a commitment to ethical practice, ensuring children's voices are heard and integrated into your work. For senior roles, you are an experienced mentor and leader, capable of coaching and supporting team members, students, and newly qualified social workers, while handling complex cases. What the Job Involves The role involves assessing the needs of children and families referred to the service and negotiating service delivery as appropriate. You will carry a duty caseload under S17 and S47 of the Children’s Act, engage in child protection enquiries, and participate in a Duty system. This includes responding to child protection concerns approximately one duty day per week. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining accurate case records, promoting children's voices, completing life journey work, and participating in team meetings. You contribute to service development and provide cover for team members when necessary. For senior practitioners, the role extends to delivering training and supervision, working with families presenting higher complexity, and supporting assessment and development within the team.
