Anthony Cole Associates are pleased to be partnering with a nationwide Property / Real Estate organisation that supply essential services to the country. An exciting newly created opportunity has arisen to recruit an Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Officer to join the Finance team on an initial 18-month FTC during an exciting period of their evolution. This will be a challenging but highly rewarding role that will offer a hybrid work pattern, however the ability to travel to the client’s main offices in Manchester 2 days a week is required.

Description

  • Process and monitor incoming payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
  • Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to achieve financial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have:

  • Strong Credit Control & Billing experience
  • Ability to commute to Manchester.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Strong data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
