CK Group are recruiting for a Scientific Administrator, to join a global leading food brand company, at their site based in Reading, on a contract basis for 6 months. Salary: £12.93 per hour PAYE. Scientific Administrator Role: Ensure samples are logged into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure the efficient throughput of samples in CSA from receipt to laboratory. Work to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that appropriate COSHHs, risk assessments and SOPs are understood and followed. Sample pot labelling and quotations, sub-sampling of supplied samples (if required). Liaise with customers to ensure correct information is available. Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as an interface with customers and deliver excellent customer service. Your Background : Understand and work to the requirements of GMP and UKAS or Home Office regulations as required. Educated to A-level / HNC level (or equivalent) and / or have appropriate industry experience to be able to fulfil role requirements. Administrative working experience. Computer literate in standard MS office applications. Experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred. Company: Our client is a world leader in food, confectionery and beverages.
