We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified and highly motivated Technician to join our successful faculty. Key responsibilities will be to support and maintain the use of Art & DT equipment and to produce resources for lessons. You will also work with groups of students or provide 1:1 support within the classroom and as part of extra-curricular activities.The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills along with an ability to prioritise tasks. You will also need to be organised flexible in your approach to a wide range of duties and have an ability to work under pressure. We are looking for somebody who has highly developed skills in CAD CAM using standard workshop equipment and enjoys working with young people.To join our team we are looking for:Excellent organisational skillsThe ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and studentsProficiency in laser cutting technologyThe ability to use a variety of materials including wood metal and plasticsA willingness to be flexible and support with extra-curricular events and activitiesWho are weWeatherhead High School is a large 11 to 18 oversubscribed girls comprehensive school with approximately 1525 students on roll. There is an excellent mixed Sixth Form with 250 students.
