Client Details
Our client is a c. £30 million turnover Group of businesses, and it is growing further by acquiring new businesses. The finance team of c. 12 is extremely stable and there is little staff turnover, as it really is a great place to work. You will be based predominantly from home, but you will be required to go into the Nottingham city centre office occasionally (usually once every fortnight).
Description
The Credit Analyst position has arisen due to an internal promotion. Although your role will involve some business to business debt collection, this is mainly done by the Account Managers. Your main duties will focus upon producing debt reports with analysis in Excel and supporting the Account Managers with understanding these reports. Additionally, you will support the wider finance team with other duties. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Producing debtor reports with analysis for Account Managers within the business
- Having meetings with Account Managers within the business to discuss the debtor reports
- Chase outstanding debt via telephone and email
- Contacting customers to obtain POs
- Respond to invoice queries which are sent to the credit control inbox
- Provide cover for daily cash flow forecasting
- Provide cover for weekly and month end reporting
Profile
To apply for the position you:
- Must have experience of working in finance (ideally in credit control or sales ledger, but this is not essential)
- Must have good Excel skills (i.e. the ability to do v look ups and pivot tables)
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Job Offer
Our client is offering:
- A salary between £26,000 and £28,000
- The ability to work predominantly from home (in the office c. 2-4 days per month), unless you would like to go into the office more
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
- A 37.5 hour working week and flexible working hours e.g. some do 9-5 with 30 minutes for lunch, but you can choose your hours
