Job Description

My client is at the forefront of innovation in the biotech sector, dedicated to advancing ground-breaking therapies for solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes through pioneering science and collaboration. They're seeking a visionary Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) to join the leadership team and drive the scientific strategies forward.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the discovery and development of cutting-edge therapies from concept to preclinical development.
  • Direct and manage research teams and preclinical translational science programs to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Transition oncology-focused cell therapies from preclinical to clinical stages.
  • Develop and execute robust translational research plans to support clinical trials, leveraging biomarkers, tumor models, and biobank resources.
  • Partner with regulatory, clinical, and commercial teams to align scientific goals with company strategy.
  • Provide scientific context and rationale to support business development, investor relations, and external partnerships.
  • Cultivate relationships with external collaborators, including academia, patient groups, clinicians, and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence across the organization.
