Job description Our client is a social housing contractor seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to manage and lead directly employed trade operatives. This role is key to maintaining high productivity, service quality, and safety, while delivering a customer-focused repairs service. The role may include out-of-hours working on a rota to support emergency repairs when required. Role and responsibilities * Support the Repairs Service Manager in delivering a first-class repairs and maintenance service. * Coordinate with Repairs Schedulers to deploy operatives efficiently and monitor performance. * Ensure repairs are completed on time, to high standards, and within budget, while keeping staff safe, motivated, and empowered. * Conduct pre- and post-inspections for quality, efficiency, and compliance with policies and regulations. * Inspect works on-site, manage complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. * Promote and adhere to policies including Equal Opportunities, health & safety, and staff management. * Support environmental policies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, best practice, and IT systems related to repairs. * Monitor materials, stock usage, and operative performance against targets and budget forecasts. * Undertake other duties as required.
