Contract type: Full time, long term

The Supply register are delighted to be working in partnership with The L.E.A.D Academy Trust and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work within their Newark based Primary School on a full time basis, starting from September.

What will the role consist of?

  • Looking after children's physical, social & emotional well-being
  • Keep records & attend review meetings if and when required
  • You will be required to use your innitiatve to adapt class work to suit student needs
  • Working alongside other members of staff to provide outstanding support to all student
  • Recognising signs of distress in children and offering reassurance.
  • Form positive relationships with children and support them with developing confidence in all areas
  • Working with children with different SEN requirements. This may be in small groups or on a 1-1 basis

Requirements:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA) or related Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have experience working with in young people with SEN previously
