We have a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor to join our team within Vistry Services, at our Bristol office. As our Solicitor, you will support the Senior Solicitor with provision of property legal services to the multiple Divisions. Those legal services extend to the acquisition of land, the sale of land parcels to third party developers, Registered Providers and private rental entities and the sale of build complete dwellings to end users.

Working closely with the regions within the divisions the role includes engaging with both the internal legal team, Vistry’s panel of external legal advisors and reporting to management on pertinent matters.

    • Play a crucial role working collaboratively with panel firms and key stakeholders to drive structure, process and best practice.
    • Demonstrate the ability to advise and influence key stakeholders.
    • Site acquisition and transactional expertise:
      • Land acquisition
      • Land disposal
      • Sub-sales and disposal of affordable housing
      • PRS/BTR frameworks
      • Overage arrangements
      • Complex title issues
      • Golden brick structure
    • Infrastructure agreements including utilities agreements.
    • Commercial property including landlord and tenant matters.
    • Lead on disposals to registered providers and investors.
    • Draft and negotiate development agreements/construction contracts.
    • Provide generic legal advice/signposting to key stakeholders.
