Norville, began this UK Lens Manufacturer from a small shop in the middle of Gloucester City Centre. Now, with over 100 years of spectacle making, Norville has a fully functional manufacturing line within Gloucester, and two other branches located in Livingston and Seaham.
Overview:
Norville’s IT Apprentice forms part of the company’s service desk, reporting to the IT Manager the Apprentice will ensure that a high level of internal service is provided managing the day-to-day IT requirements of the business.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to:]
- First line support to Norville employees through the IT service desk ticketing system
- Liaising with colleagues to provide updates to their queries or projects
- Onboarding of new starters
- Main profile
- Office 365
- Outlook
- Clocking in and Out system
- Management of the company’s digital access fob
- Printer network management, liaising with contractor and ensuring the correct supplies are in place ready for use
- Working with the Norville Group to ensure that all protocols are adhered to by Norville,
- Checking backups and antiviruses are UpToDate
