The Opportunity Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND. We are currently looking for a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status to provide support in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science support pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education. Due to the nature of the students, we provide support to, applicants must have experience tutoring core subjects. Key Responsibilities: Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Functional Skills Maths and English. Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEN needs, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging. Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps. Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families. Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students build confidence in Maths and English. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in Functional Skills Maths and English. Experience working with SEN students. Right to work in the UK.
