Experienced Simulator TechnicianCompany:Boeing United Kingdom LimitedBoeing United Kingdom Limited is looking for an Experienced Simulator Technician to join our team in Crawley UK.The new joiner will be maintaining Devices to regulatory and company standards ensuring that training devices are ready for use and Training Centre Customers are provided with professional technical support.Hiring details:This requisition is for a locally hired position in Crawley UK. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Role involves shift work standard working pattern is 2 dayshifts followed by 2 nightshifts followed by 4 rest days. Hours are 7am-7pm for dayshift and 7pm-7am for nightshift pattern follows an 8-day cycle e.g. Mon/Tues days Wed Thurs nights off Fri Sat Sun and Mon next set of shifts begin Tues/Wed.Position Responsibilities:Performing pre-flight tasksPerforming preventative maintenance functionsConducting troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on training devicesPerforming training device updates (Software and Hardware)Ensuring documentation procedures are completedProviding total customer support service that can include accompanying customers through instructor station training and during dry training operationsProviding supervision and guidance to junior team members acts as a mentor on occasionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years experience of similar type role eg.
