We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a third year Fine art university student, who is studying in Farnham. They are looking for a like-minded person to join their care team and to assist them in daily living whilst studying. Join their team of PAs who provide their personal care and independent living support. Im a full-time wheelchair user living in a semi-accessible flat on campus. Im passionate about art and hope you are someone who could share this passion and knowledge with me.I would like someone with no preconceived expectation of the several complex disabilities that can affect me in different ways. I have both neurological and physical disabilities, including Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a Chiari malformation, which can cause a range of symptoms. Please be aware that I can be prone to seizures and fainting but nothing regularly.I would want someone who is proactive in keeping things clean and tidy, organising medication and laundry, and helping me with tasks that I need assistance with. I might also require some help overnight if I have trouble regulating my temperature or need assistance to use the bathroom. Sometimes prompting me or asking more than once if I need something or assistance can help.
