This is a full-time role offering consistent hours in a secure and supportive working environment.What Does a Security Officer DoSecurity Officers play a vital role in protecting people property and information. They act as a visual deterrent prevent unauthorized access monitor for suspicious activity and respond to incidents and emergencies. This position helps ensure the safety and security of premises 24/7.Key Responsibilities:Patrol and monitor premises to deter and detect security breachesManage access control and verify ID for staff visitors and contractorsRespond quickly to alarms and emergencies in a calm effective mannerMaintain detailed logs and incident reportsConduct regular internal and external security checksOperate CCTV and other monitoring equipmentEnforce site-specific procedures and health & safety regulationsSupport protection of classified materials and sensitive infrastructureLiaise with emergency services and site management as neededQualifications : Key Requirements:Must be a British citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 yearsHold a valid SIA licenceMust be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)5-year checkable work history is requiredFlexible to work days nights and weekends This position is subject to enhanced background checks and government security vetting.
