Driver Trainer

Driver Trainer / Assessor 34k Ballyearl Montgomery Distribution is seeking to recruit a LGV 1 Driver Trainer/Assessor to join the group. The successful candidate should ideally have experience within a Driver Training role and demonstrate a good record to support training implementations, EU driving hour regulations and assessments. The new role will be based at our Ballyearl depot and will be responsible for driving assessments and training and development of the existing fleet in Distribution. Job Description To deliver all aspects of training to the drivers, Train staff members in safe use of Tail Lift. Train in the use of PDA, including company apps, TMS, Truckfile, Palletways. Carry out driving assessments. Carry out site inductions across various sites. Review and record driver infringements. Deliver Safe Systems of Work to all drivers. Ensure all training records are kept up to date and filed securely. Reporting to Senior Management. Interviewing / assessing all new drivers. Monitor in cab Drive Cam (Vue) events to improve standards. Deliver DCPC. Review & reporting on MPG. Assist with accident investigations. Tool box talk delivery. Carry regular compliance checks. Ideal Candidate Experienced LGV 1&2 Driver Presentation skills Knowledge of EU and Working Time Regulations RTITB qualification in assessing LGV & FLT (desirable but not essential) PC literate A good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation A professional approach displaying credibility Awareness of Transport and Health and Safety legislation At Ballyvesey Holdings your right to privacy is important to us.
