Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Are you an electrically biased multi skilled maintenance engineer seeking a stable environment where your engineering skills and ability to do a great job will be recognised and valued? This profitable Leicester based manufacturing company are seeking a multi skilled maintenance engineer with excellent electrical skills to support their busy fmcg production environment. This is a Monday to Friday double day shift role – no nightsAs an electrically biased maintenance engineer you will join a dedicated and experienced small maintenance team in a busy production environment. Your role will be to assistant in the proactive and reactive maintenance of all plant, equipment and services, plus help in CI / Lean improvement projects across the site.Role Details:Mon to Fri double days (6am – 2pm, 2pm -10pm)Salary up to £48k + overtime“on call” shift rota that you will need to work within25 days holidays + Bank holidaysHealth cash plan membershipContributory pensionMaintenance Engineer responsibilities:Carry out PPMs on equipmentRespond to breakdowns in a quick, safe and efficient manner to keep downtime to a minimumSuggest and implement equipment and plant improvementsComplete documentation accuratelyQualifications & Experience:Qualified in electrical engineering to Level 3 or above.Skilled in electrical fault finding and maintenanceIdeally apprenticeship trained or hold solid experience in a similar role.Experienced in PLC controlled systems and PLC programmingKnowledge of automated pneumatic machineryOperate in a safety first approachProblem solving, can-do attitude.Interested to learn more?To find out more about this Maintenance Engineer position please contact Louise Wilson at Wagstaff Recruitment & Careers Coaching (phone number removed).
