Electro-Mechanical Assembler Location: Orpington Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am 4:30 pm, Friday 08:00 am 1:00 pm Pay: £14.00 - £18.00 PH (DOE) Type: 3 6 Months contract Start Date: Immediate Our client is a well-established manufacturer who is looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join the team on a contract basis. As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, youll be responsible for the precise assembly of mechanical, electrical, optical, and hydraulic components, ensuring all parts are accurately built and tested to meet stringent production and quality standards. What youll be doing as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler: Assemble components to precise specifications using engineering and schematic drawings Perform soldering and wiring of electronic components to industry standards Operate test equipment (e.g., spectrometers, multimeters) to verify unit compliance Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments during assembly tasks Interpret technical drawings to produce or modify parts using lathe and/or CNC machinery Package and inspect final assemblies for dispatch readiness Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environmentWhat were looking for in an Electro-Mechanical Assembler: Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, or optical assembly (or a similar technical role) Ability to read and interpret engineering and electrical assembly dra...
