Job Title: CoachbuilderJob Location: KilmarnockShifts: Mon-Fri Days (Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:30, 13:30 Friday Finish) Hourly Rate: £20.06 (£41,730 Salary)Hours Per Week: 40Duration: Permanent Start Date: Immediately Company Summary:A leading Rolling Stock Engineering Business offering a comprehensive range of refurbishment, maintenance, overhaul, engineering support, project management and repair services to the UK rail and light rail sector. Position Summary:* Stripping out, refurbishment and renovation of trains and rolling stock* Use various metalwork techniques to remove dents, repair rusted sections and fix panels together* Bodwork inspections and corrosion repairs - cutting out rusted floors and side panels* Installation of new floors, lino, ceilings and partitions and seating inspection, removal and repair of internal and external panelling Refurbishment of train components* Use of hand, power an air toolsPerson Profile:* Experience within Vehicle/Coachbuilding from an engineering backround* Ideally have an NVQ level 3 within engineering PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
