Junior BIM TechnicianGalldris GroupLocation: EN3 7FJ, Enfield, England, United KingdomAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior BIM Technician to join our Head Office team. The Junior BIM Technician will provide support for BIM-related tasks during the tender and construction stages, ensuring accurate model creation and coordination while developing skills in digital construction.Key Accountabilities to include, but not limited to:Assist in the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) for project tasks, including construction sequencing and logistics presentationSupport the development of BIM models under supervision, ensuring compliance with project requirementsWork collaboratively with senior BIM professionals and project teams on digital construction initiativesAssist in clash detection and resolution processes to enhance project efficiencyMaintain accurate records and documentation of BIM data and project workflowsAdhere to UK BIM standards and company policiesUndertake other duties as assigned to support BIM and engineering functionsExperience/Knowledge:Basic understanding of BIM tools and processes within construction projectsFamiliarity with Revit, Microstation, SketchUp, Civil 3D and other BIM applicationsPrior experience or exposure to civil or structural engineering is desirable but not essentialSkills:Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit and associated BIM softwareSome familiarity with 4D planning tools such as Asta BIM or Synchro ProSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop technical skillsAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyGood IT and organisational skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilitiesQualifications:Relevant BIM training or certificationDegree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential)Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK.Should you feel you have what it takes to be successful in this role, then we would love to hear from you.Employee referral scheme - refer a friend or family member to work for Galldris.Galldris is an Equal Opportunities employer and does not discriminate against any protected characteristic.Please note: We are not using recruitment agencies for this role.
