Procurement SpecialistPermanentFull TimeHybrid - Edinburgh£38,000 - £40,000Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering with a progressive public sector organisation in Edinburgh who are looking to welcome a Procurement Specialist to play a key part in the Procurement team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end procurement processes for goods, works, and services in line with policy, legislation, and regulations.Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure procurement activity is transparent, inclusive, and outcome-focused.Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records including contracts registers, procurement strategy documents, and supporting policies.Provide professional advice and guidance on purchasing options to colleagues at all levels.Support and advise on contract management throughout the contract lifecycle, including resolution of disputes where required.Partner with business areas to identify opportunities for cost savings, value for money, and service improvements.Commit to ongoing professional development and stay current with procurement legislation and best practice.Ensure full compliance with organisational policies including health and safety, equality, code of conduct, and service standards.Skills and ExperienceProven experience in procurement and contract management within the public or regulated sector.Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation, policies, and frameworks.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPS or equivalent).Experience of contributing to strategic procurement initiatives and audits.Knowledge of sector-specific regulatory requirements.Please apply if interested or contact Emma Ritchie on 07488885327 or at emma.ritchie@morganhunt.comMorgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
