Role details:

  • Conducting, overseeing, and finalising statutory audits while reporting to senior staff and managers.Drafting statutory accounts, which involves reviewing disclosure requirements.Coordinating and communicating project plans with clients to meet deadlines and stay within budget.Taking on increasing responsibility by leading audit teams and independently completing assignments.Supervising and mentoring junior team members and trainees, facilitating their growth and progress.

What I need from you:

  • Minimum of 12 months of Audit and Assurance experience within an accountancy practice.Experience working in teams on external audit assignments.Proficient in preparing accounts following UK GAAP standards.Able to work independently and collaboratively within teams.Strong communication skills with both senior staff and clients.Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.Motivated to take on responsibilities and uphold high-quality service standards.Sound understanding of key audit risks, with awareness of personal limitations and readiness to seek assistance when needed.
