Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Reports to: Lead Project Manager Location: Aldermaston / Birmingham Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £60,000 per annum Role Purpose The Quantity Surveyor will act as the Company’s Commercial Representative and serve as the primary point of contact to the Client for all commercial and contractual matters. The postholder will ensure robust commercial management, contract compliance, and accurate financial control across all project phases. This role operates in close collaboration with the Lead Project Manager to maintain coverage and continuity of key commercial and contractual functions, including the use of CEMAR for contract administration. The successful candidate will play a central role in protecting the commercial interests of the Contractor while fostering a transparent and cooperative relationship with the Client. Key Responsibilities Serve as the principal commercial and contractual contact for the Client. Administer contracts in accordance with NEC (New Engineering Contract) principles and procedures. Manage and maintain CEMAR records, including early warnings, compensation events, and communications. Support the Project Manager in commercial decision-making and project risk management.
