PE Global is currently recruiting for a Microbiology Analyst for a leading multi-national pharma client based in Runcorn. This is an initial 18 months contract position. Hourly rate £15.73ph + shift allowance Shift Pattern: 6am to 6pm on a two week rotational basis. During week 1, the person will work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Then in the second week, the reverse pattern (so Wednesday and Thursday only). This then reverts back to week 1 the following Monday. Once training in completed, there will be the expectation that they also go onto the lates rota. This is basically the exact same day pattern worked but rather than 6am to 6pm, the hours are 12 (midday) until 12 (midnight). ***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in UK*** Duties of the role/Responsibilities • Perform Environmental monitoring within Grade B – D clean rooms and filling machines at the appropriate frequency. • Undertake testing of key components. This includes testing of in-process samples, Raw Materials and filled product by various techniques such as T.V.A.C, Bacterial Endotoxin and Sterility testing. All testing to be completed using good Aseptic technique. Results entered into the Microbiology Database and trended where necessary.
