Your work will shape solutions that directly support our customers in defence aerospace and beyond.Day-to-day youll provide technical leadership manage project delivery engage with customers and mentor junior engineers helping to grow our additive manufacturing capability.Your responsibilities will include:Leading technical programmes in additive manufacturing projectsEngaging with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutionsProviding technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineersLeading the qualification and certification of AM partsProducing proposals reports and technical documentation to a high standardSupporting business development through bids proposals and portfolio managementEssential experience of the Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer:Extensive experience in additive manufacturing particularly with metal-based technologiesExcellent understanding of materials science and its application to AMProven ability to lead projects manage budgets and deliver outcomes to time and qualityExperience of mechanical testing and validation methods (e.g. tensile hardness)Expert knowledge of Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) and CAD/CAMStrong communication and interpersonal skills including customer engagementEssential qualifications for the Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer:A first degree in Science or Engineering OR equivalent experience (8 years)We value difference and we dont have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.This role is 37 hours per week based at Farnborough.
