PE Teacher + Head of Girls PE - Outstanding Ealing Secondary School

An Outstanding Secondary School in Ealing are searching for a PE Teacher / Head of Girls PE to join their team on a permanent contract in September 2024.

This is an exciting time for a PE Teacher + Head of Girls PE to join the school, as you will only be teaching practical PE Lessons for the first academic year, whilst simultaneously working alongside the Head of PE to develop the GCSE PE curriculum that is planned to launch in September 2025.

This high-achieving school is amongst the best performing in the country, let alone London. From a PE & Sports perspective, the school is a classic school that is well-equipped with a multisport area, grass playing field and diverse mix of sports on offer through-out the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have a specialism in Netball and Gymnastics, however other sports specialties will still be considered.

JOB SPEC - PE Teacher + Head of Girls PE

  • PE Teacher + Head of Girls PE
  • Teaching KS3 & KS4 Girls PE (Practical lessons)
  • Developing the future curriculum for GCSE PE (Theory and Practical)
  • MPS/UPS Inner London + TLR2A £3300
  • Permanent Contract - September 2024 start
  • Mixture of sports including Netball, Gymnastics, Trampolining, Hockey, Football, Rounders, Softball, Rugby, Fencing, Badminton, Tennis, Athletics, Basketball, Cricket and Dance.
