CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Solid background working in a procurement environment essential

Experience of working in fast paced (sales driven) environment focused on tight timeframes

Extremely good attention to detail with excellent accuracy skills & a passion for excellence

Relevant industry experience, knowledge of IT products &/or services

Strong interpersonal skills, always ensuring effective communication

Being focused on deliverables in a busy, fast paced, changing environment - Understand the sense of urgency where required with the ability to prioritise

Self-motivated, team player with a can-do proactive positive approach and a quick learner

Well organised with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities to support our business requirements globally

Patient and calm even when faced with changing plans, deadlines, and conflicting goals

Good under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines in an organised manner with a structured approach

Ability to work on your own taking personal responsibility managing your own time with the determination to see all complex tasks to completion

Very good communicator at all levels in the business, at ease dealing with senior management

Experience of Cisco’s CCW platform would be an advantage

Experience of Microsoft subscriptions would be an advantage

Strong use of integrated business systems required, Knowledge of NetSuite an advantage

Advanced user of Microsoft Excel

KEY TASKS:

Placing Purchase Orders on suppliers within the businesses agreed SLAs

Use Cisco’s CCW platform to place purchase orders onto Cisco

Proactively managing all Purchase Orders using the tools available: 3rd party vendor portals, etc.

Chasing suppliers for lead-times & delivery updates

Working closely with the project management team to ensure orders are invoiced in a timely manner

Management of customer back orders to invoice as much as possible

Ensuring system data is up to date and accurate at all times

Ensuring delivery to customers is performed in the most efficient manner

Complete end to end management of direct shipments

Manage international sales orders maintaining effective communication to relevant stakeholders

Manage non-deliveries or missing deliveries in part or full

Working with the finance team to ensure all customer and supplier invoice queries are addressed

Authorising & managing the RMA process for the return of goods from customers to suppliers

Manage supplier rebates

Producing daily/weekly/monthly financial reports for key stakeholders
