Senior CNC Programmer – Precision Engineering Location: Datchet area Type: Full-time, Permanent (On-site) Start Date: Immediate We are supporting a well-established precision engineering company in their search for a Senior CNC Programmer to lead and develop their machining operations. This is a key, hands-on role for an experienced professional with advanced Fusion 360 CAM programming skills, strong shopfloor knowledge, and a passion for mentoring others. You’ll be working across a range of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis Haas milling machines as well as 2-axis lathes, producing complex components for clients in multiple industries. Key Requirements: Experience programming with Fusion 360 CAM Hands-on machining experience (mills and lathes) Strong knowledge of setup, tooling selection, workholding, and optimisation Ability to estimate machining time and resources for prototypes and small batch work Confident leading a small team and sharing best practices Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills Responsibilities: Create CNC programs using Fusion 360 from 3D models and drawings Set up and operate Haas mills (3/4/5-axis) and Haas lathe (2-axis) Produce one-off and small batch precision components Support accurate quoting by providing realistic machining and programming times Mentor junior machinists and uphold quality standards Contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop ...
