Broster Buchanan are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Private Equity backed SME who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller, to be based at their HQ in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will play a key leadership role within the Finance team, ensuring robust financial management, statutory compliance, and timely reporting to support the strategic and operational objectives of the organisation. They will oversee all aspects of financial control, reporting, and process improvement, acting as a trusted advisor to senior management. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and performance reports.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting to the CFO, Board and Investors.Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analyses.Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital managementManage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and advisors. Controls & Compliance Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and NHS contractual reporting requirements.Oversee VAT, PAYE, and other tax submissions in coordination with external advisors....
